Roland Fröschke
Developer and creator of WertNoxX

I am an independent Android developer and designed, programmed and tested WertNoxX myself. Over 17 months, I invested approximately 1,600 hours of development work, followed by an intensive five-month testing phase focused on the reliability of the features and calculations.
WertNoxX combines expense, purchase and contract tracking with personal price comparisons, budget overviews and forecasts. Its calculations and analyses run locally on the Android device; they are not generated by artificial intelligence.
With explicit consent, optional AI assistance can recognize selected information from receipts, invoices and contracts. Subsequent processing and analysis take place locally. The usefulness of the results depends on the completeness and quality of the recorded data.
As the developer and original creator, I know the source code and technical architecture and can support questions about further development, adaptation and a potential project acquisition.
Developed for Germany. With a perspective for the USA.
WertNoxX turns receipts, invoices and recurring expenses into a personal overview of spending, price trends and financial planning. The existing Android app provides a concrete technical foundation for entering the US market.
An existing app as the starting point
Key capabilities can be reused in a US version: expense management, core calculations, personal price comparisons and forecasts. The adaptation would focus on aligning these functions with American receipts and consumer habits.
This includes a fully English-language interface, US dollars and American date formats, along with measurements such as pounds, ounces and gallons. It would also cover recognition of US retailers and product names, and handling of separately itemized sales tax, tips and fees. Recurring payments and reports would be adapted accordingly.
Estimated development effort: 300 to 350 hours
As the developer, I estimate approximately 300 to 350 working hours to adapt the existing functionality, including testing and technical handover. The planned implementation window is around seven to ten weeks, depending on coordination, availability of test receipts and final acceptance.
The plan includes testing with American receipts to ensure amounts, items, quantities and price comparisons work reliably together. Final scope will be defined based on the buyer’s requirements and representative US test receipts. Additional capabilities such as an iOS version or bank integrations would be separate extensions.
A clear foundation for investors
A buyer would acquire an already developed Android project with its own source code and existing analytics functionality. This provides a basis for building a distinct US version and developing it further to the buyer’s specifications.
As the developer and original creator, I understand how the application’s components fit together and can support technical adaptation and handover. WertNoxX thus offers a tangible starting point and a defined preliminary development framework for the next market.
